THESE are the pictures that prove what a great time we had at the SOS recruitment Temp of the Year party. Dozens of you came along to our Bournemouth office to help us celebrate. The event was intended as a thank you for the hard work and dedication of all SOS temps and three exceptional workers were presented with awards by Bournemouth Mayor Cllr Anne Filer. The overall winner of the Temp of the Year award was Shirley Aubrey in recognition of her bubbly personality and dedication to various temping jobs.

“I couldn’t believe it when they announced me as the winner”, she said. “I just love my work. I love the variety of not being pinned down to one place of work and the flexibility that gives me.”

Other award winners were Oliver Hopper, presented with the award for Going Above and Beyond and Samantha Payne, awarded for her continuous Hard Work and Loyalty. SOS MD Julie Cook said: “With so many hard working temps on our books choosing just three winners was a tough job but Shirley, Oliver and Samantha are all exceptional.

“It was a great party, which continued until the small hours of the morning. I’d like to extend my thanks for the hard work to the SOS temps who were unable to come along.”
